SEO has become a series of battles to be won.\u00a0 Years ago, it was easy to be a one trick SEO pony and be successful.\u00a0 Using link farms, bots, cheap overseas labor and other automation tools made SEO a robotic process.\u00a0 Fast forward today and you\u2019ll see an entirely different battlefield.\u00a0 It\u2019s not enough to run what we call \u201cRonco\u201d campaigns (Set it and forget it<\/a>).\u00a0 Every month there seems to be a new Panda or Penguin update altering the landscape of the SERPs.\u00a0 You need to know your \u201copposition\u201d as well as you know your own business.\u00a0 (Of course, I\u2019m not saying Google is an enemy.\u00a0 My point is that their decisions sculpt the challenges that we must overcome in our landscape.)<\/p>\n

SEO isn\u2019t easy.\u00a0 You must optimize but not over-optimize.\u00a0 You need good, healthy, fresh content, but not too thin and not too thick.\u00a0 You need links, but they need to be quality and \u201cnatural\u201d.\u00a0 Use keywords but don\u2019t overstuff them.\u00a0 Try hard without appearing to try too hard.\u00a0 Make people like you.\u00a0 Now do all this without knowing the exact recipe or strict outline of the \u201cperfect\u201d result.<\/p>\n

As a Certified Google SEM agency, we decided to jump into the Organic game just as Google began its game-changing updates.\u00a0 How is it that our clients continue to \u201cnot be imperiled in a hundred battles\u201d during the most volatile time in our industry\u2019s history?<\/p>\n

As the Art of War states, \u201cknow your enemy.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0 We study google and learn everything we can about them.\u00a0 In other words, we dedicate a lot of time and resources learning about Google\u2019s goals, strategy, and mindset.\u00a0 We don\u2019t have one particular software or rigid gameplan for SEO.\u00a0 We\u2019re constantly changing and improving based on what Google wants.\u00a0 It\u2019s not the easy route but it is the best route.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
